Your Role:


  • Process travel expense forms and reconcile travel provider payments;
  • Manage third party invoices received from different sources and submit for electronic processing;
  • Obtain information from general ledger and other sources to trigger wire payments to select third party vendors;
  • Internal and third party mail distribution for the Stores Accounting team;
  • Enter data into other third party systems based on internal information;
  • Input daily and monthly journal entries into the PeopleSoft financial system;
  • Prepare monthly reconciliations on select general ledger accounts, ensuring items are clearing as required;
  • Obtain, organize and assemble documentation to support audit requests and;
  • Investigate and respond to inquiries from internal and external parties.

Desired Skills & Experience:


  • Minimum of 12 years accounting experience is an asset;
  • Experience using Microsoft Office products with strong knowledge of Excel;
  • Knowledge of the PeopleSoft Financial system would be an asset;
  • Possess a high degree of accuracy with attention to detail;
  • Proven organizational, planning and prioritizing tasks;
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and assignments while meeting strict deadlines;
  • Strong analytical, verbal and written communication skills and;
  • Have a demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
