Description

Responsibilities:


  • Assist in demolition, framing, drywalling, trimwork and all other aspects of general construction
  • Load and unload construction materials, and move materials to work area
  • Erect and dismantle scaffolding, fencing, hoarding as required
  • Assist various tradespersons in construction activities
  • Operate various power tools, machines, and other equipment as directed (drills, compressors, pneumatic guns, skilsaws, chop saws, table saws, jack hammer, etc.)
  • Understanding of job site logistics, blue print reading, use of laser tools an asset

Qualifications:


  • Must be able to perform physically challenging work
  • Must be a good problem solver
  • Must have experience using hand tools, measuring tools.
  • Working at Heights certificate is an asset
  • Must be willing to occasionally work out of town (Mon
  • Fri.) across Ontario
  • Having own vehicle and valid driver's license is an asset

Job Types:
Permanent, Full-time


Salary:
$20.00-$25.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

Experience:

- carpentry: 1 year (preferred)
