The impact you will have:

Softchoice's Finance team is looking for a self-motivated, enthusiastic AP representative seeking experience on a collaborative and dynamic Accounts Payable team.

You will be leading vendor and account reconciliations for key accounts and working closely with cross-functional stakeholders to drive issue resolution.

In addition, we will seek and value your process improvement suggestions.

With an inquisitive mindset, attention to detail, and problem-solving expertise, you will improve the efficiency of invoice processing and maximize payment accuracy.

What you'll do:

Input supplier invoices and credit memos into the system
Drive invoicing issue resolution by collaborating with other departments, investigating, tracking progress, and escalating issues as needed to ensure timely and proper resolution and closeout
Monitor EDI rejections and clear EDI holds to identify and forward issues to related department
Execute regular supplier account reconciliation, identify and resolve discrepancies
Monitor and maintain Goods Receipt Invoice Receipt report and ATB aging of assigned accounts, identify issues, and forward to Purchasing/Returns for resolution
Investigate and initiate cleanup of aged items for assigned accounts
Respond to vendor payment inquiries
Perform other adhoc projects as required

What you'll bring to the table:

3+ years of relevant progressive experience, SAP experience is an asset
Postsecondary degree in Accounting or Finance
Excellent Excel skills and attention to detail
Strong communication (oral and written), interpersonal and organizational skills
Creative, outofthebox thinking capabilities with strong problemsolving skills
Selfmotivated, selfstarter, able to work well independently and within a team environment
Ability to foster proactive working relationships with crossfunctional departments
