Come work as a Psychiatrist Operational Stress Injury OSI with Vancouver Coastal Health VCH There are positions located in VCH offices in Victoria As one of British Columbias six regional health authorities VCH is a world class innovator in medical care research and teaching delivering service to more than one million BC residents with more than employees and over billion funding As an Operational Stress Injury OSI Psychiatrist with Vancouver Coastal Health you will Provide direct patient care including diagnostic assessments assessments for disability and ongoing treatment for CAF members veterans and RCMP within the context of a multidisciplinary teamprogram Most care is provided virtually at present due to COVID restrictions Use of our electronic medical records system and computer skills are required Attend staff meetings quality improvement reviews comply with VCHA medical staff rules bylaws and policies Be required to travel occasionally to provide outreach services within BC once travel is deemed safe again The Clinic provides specialized mental health services to clients their families referred by Veterans Affairs Canada VAC Royal Canadian Mounted Police RCMP Department of National Defense DND who experiencing problems due to workrelated psychological trauma stress eg posttraumatic stress disorder anxiety disorders depression chronic pain addiction etc Services across BC the Yukon
