The Don Wheaton Family YMCA is looking for a volunteer Facility Attendant to complete high quality cleaning and general maintenance of the facility and support a better experience for our members.

Position Responsibilities

Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of facility and locker rooms at all times by completing necessary duties
Inspect and monitor equipment regular and complete any maintenance and cleaning checklist duties. Inform the Supervisor, Duty Manager or building maintenance if repairs are needed
Present strong customer service skills when interacting with facility patrons
Comply with standards and practices to meet all local and provincial codes as well as YMCA established practices
Perform general maintenance duties or log requirements in the Communication Binder
Follow the audit process for service quality assurance
Assist with inventory management

What You'll Need

Previous cleaning and/or janitorial experience is an asset
First Aid and CPR-C is an asset
Completion of High School Diploma or equivalent is an asset
Able to obtain a Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector Search
