Job Summary:

Duties and Responsibilities:
(including but not limited to):

Mechanical inspection of catalogue and machined parts for conformance to specifications and completion of associated paper work;
Use of standard Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing;
Ensure proper part certificates are received and traceability of parts is maintained (as required);
Preparation of part Non-Conformance Reports;
Vendor liaison, when required;
Inprocess inspection of company products;
Identify tools and equipment required for mechanical inspection;
Develop inspection techniques and design inspection jigs and gauges;
Use and programming of CMM and use of other advanced tools and equipment;
Calibration and material identification;
Check and approve product Test Reports;
Inspection scheduling.
Adherence to our ISO quality system and safety program;

This position requires the use of initiative and independent judgment;
High attention to detail, precision, and accuracy with ability to multitask;
Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and comprehension;
Welldeveloped oral and written communication skills;
Excellent time management and organizational skills;
Ability to work independently and within a team with mínimal supervision, maintaining focus on work quality;
Selfmotivated and highly proactive work style with ability to prioritize and meet deadlines;
High standard of ethical work practices while maintaining confidentiality of business information
Experience with Microsoft Office products.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment;
Computer skills in MS Office
Willingness and ability to learn.

Qualifications

Must be authorized to legally work in Canada without company sponsorship.
Diploma in Mechanical Technology or equivalent mechanical basics with 2+ years of relevant experience.
