Inventory Analyst - Hanover, Canada - Exceldor Cooperative
Description
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized Production Scheduler/Inventory Analyst to join our team.The Production Scheduler/Inventory Analyst will be responsible for coordinating daily production schedules, ensuring accurate inventory management, and facilitating smooth communication between various departments to meet customer requirements.
- Schedule the Counter Ready department daily based on information provided by the Sales team.
- Enter orders from Sales/Customers in JDE.
- Collaborate closely with the Sales team to receive orders promptly and adjust quantities as needed to meet customer demands.
- Maintain accurate materials inventories and ensure timely ordering of materials as required.
- Maintain constant communication with department supervisors and subordinates, providing regular updates and reports.
- Liaise with all necessary departments and individuals to ensure consistency and accuracy of information.
- Communicate regularly with internal departments to ensure scheduled timelines are met.
- Assist in managing accurate information by providing feedback to correct inaccuracies.
- Obtain information from various resources for product availability, balancing, and yields.
- Coordinate all necessary documents, including tracking incoming/outgoing products and preparing accurate reports for the Finance department.
- Update cost slates weekly and prepare monthly statements for Finance, making corrections and reconciliations as required.
- Ensure accurate accounting of all products by balancing yields and advising departments of any yield issues.
- Collect and verify all documents needed for tasks related to meat balancing, yields, and accuracy.
- Build load layouts in Excel spreadsheet for shipping.
- Schedule logistics for customer orders and deliveries by coordinating trucking schedules with the shipping department.
- Must be available odd weeknights for phone conversations to address possible issues or provide direction/instructions.
- All other duties as assigned.
Key Qualifications
- Previous work in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field is an asset.
- Proven experience in production planning or a similar role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite specifically Excel and ERP systems.
- Knowledge of inventory management principles.
- Attention to detail and problemsolving skills.
- Availability to work odd weeknights for phone conversations as needed.
