As an Optician, you will be responsible for assisting customers in selecting and fitting eyeglasses and contact lenses, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring the smooth operation of the optical department.

• Assist customers in selecting frames and lenses that best suit their needs and style preferences
• Take accurate measurements of customers' eyes and facial features to ensure proper fit of eyeglasses
• Educate customers on lens options, coatings, and treatments
• Adjust frames to ensure comfort and proper alignment
• Process orders for eyeglasses and contact lenses
• Perform repairs and adjustments on eyeglasses
• Maintain inventory of frames, lenses, and other optical supplies
• Keep the optical department clean and organized
• Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to provide comprehensive eye care services Skills:
• Strong retail sales skills with a focus on providing exceptional customer service
• Knowledge of optical products, including frames, lenses, coatings, and treatments
• Familiarity with optical equipment and tools used for measurements and adjustments
• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems (Epic experience preferred)
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fastpaced environment
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
