Assignment:

Full-time 1.0 FTE Educational Assistant position

Duties to commence May 16, 2024 and continue for the remainder of the 2023/2024 school year

Working with students in an individual and classroom setting

Qualifications and/or Assets:

Experience working with students with complex needs would be considered an asset

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Background and/or experience with academic or behavioral needs

Ability to work one on one with a student in an inclusive environment

Experience working in an Early Years Education setting would be considered an asset

Strong interpersonal skills and a positive personality

Flexibility to work in a variety of programs

Willingness to work in an active, team-orientated learning environment

Ability to demonstrate empathy, compassion and patience

Experience and/or training as an Educational Assistant would be considered an asset
