Summer Camp / Academy Soccer Coach

Challenger Sports is owned and operated by some of the most experienced soccer people in the country and our team of 9 offices and 100 full time staff now provides a comprehensive range of Soccer services and products:


Summer Camp/ Academy Soccer Coach (breakdown of role)
The Academy role has you in one location for the duration of your time in the role. You will work with teams/ players over the course of the season

There are points in the contract when you will be involved in one/ other or both


Summer Camp Role
Staff members will deliver soccer sessions to a variety of age groups/ players. You will either remain at your home location and/or have the option to travel to different locations to coach each week


Academy Coach Role


Staff members will deliver soccer sessions to a variety of age groups, teams & players whilst following a set Challenger curriculum.

This role will mainly involve

  • Coaching daily/weekly sessions to players of a variety of ages years old)
  • Logbooks: keeping track of your hours & sessions
  • Session plans: use Challenger software to provide online session plans
  • Communication: to all parents/ players within our registration programs
  • Scheduling: follow your schedule & be adaptable for any changes based on inclement weather **Compensation
You will be provided the following for each role

  • Summer camp half day (15hrs) $300$350
  • Summer camp full day (15hrs) $550$600)
  • Academy role (25hrs) $400450
  • Housing (if needed)
  • Transport (if needed)
Field sessions can be anywhere within a 1hr radius of your home


Requirements:


  • Must be comfortable working with children of all age groups.
  • All staff must pass rigorous background check.
  • The vast majority of positions require your own transport.
  • Must have work authorization to work in the Canada
  • Must have some experience working with children of 512yrs
  • It is essential you are personable & have high energy
  • Playing experience preferred
