Job Duties/Qualifications, Skills and Abilities(QSA):

  • Responsible for the operations of the Energy and Resource Sciences facility at Moose Jaw Campus.
  • Assist instructors in preparing materials and equipment, and support during hands-on exercises.
  • Support research projects in sustainability and applied research areas.
  • Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they meet safety regulations.
  • Manage inventory, coordinate equipment repairs, and purchase supplies.
  • Contribute to a positive work environment and ensure facility safety and security.
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License required.
  • Specific Accountabilities:

Required Qualifications, Skills and Abilities (QSA)

  • Technologist Diploma or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
  • Three years of experience in a technical environment.
  • Member or eligible for certification with relevant bodies.
  • Experience with program-specific software and equipment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Organizational and time management skills.
  • Problem-solving and data management skills.
  • Ability to work in a team and maintain effective relationships.
  • Demonstrates understanding and valuing Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion.
