THE CENTRE FOR CONTINUING EDUCATION has the following anticipated vacancies for the Fall 2024 Semester full-time AEC program Mobile Application Programming MAP-08 (AEC-LEA.CB) FULL TIME DAY INTENSIVE (9:00 AM – 12:00 PM, 12:30 PM – 2:30 PM) August 19, 2024 to January 20, 2025.

N.B. Contracts are contingent upon sufficient student enrollment in each course. Starting date, day/time and location for each course to be determined by the Centre for Continuing Education.
COMPUTER SCIENCE MAP *INTEGRATION INTO THE LABOUR MARKET AB) course:
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or other relevant field of study as well as minimum 3 years' experience with HR/career training/career counselling OR significant industry experience (5 years minimum) working with HR and/or career training/career counseling
• Demonstrated ability in the development of mobile applications (Android and/or IOS) – an asset
• Minimum 2 years teaching experience – an asset
• Master's level of degree in related field – an asset
Equivalent establishes a general comparison between two official education systems
Note: In accordance with art of the Collective Agreement, the Selection Committee may, exceptionally, recommend to the College that pertinent additional professional and/or industrial experience be considered in lieu of the stated minimum educational requirement. Candidates to be considered under this option must have completed at least the equivalent of a DEC or AEC. Education superior to the stated minimum requirement may be substituted for professional/industrial experience at the discretion of the selection committee.
