Engagements and Compliance
- Review of assurance and nonassurance engagements to ensure that relevant professional standards and Firm policies are followed
- Supervise and assist staff to effectively plan and execute engagements
- Facilitate communication with clients, staff, and partners to assist with the preparation of engagements
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, addressing client inquiries in a timely manner, and identifying business opportunities with existing clients on an ongoing basis
- Maintain interpersonal relationships with MW&CO staff and assist with staff training, development, and mentorship
- Contribute to the development of new ideas and processes within the Firm and help to implement, monitor, and assess processes and policies
- Maintain technical proficiency through professional reading, professional development courses and general awareness of current issues
- Adhere to the ethical standards of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Professional Accountants and those implicit within MW&CO
Job requirements:
- CPA designation
- 3+ years of experience in public accounting and with performing and/or reviewing Compilation and Review Engagements
- 1+ years of experience managing and overseeing staff preferred
- Audit Engagement experience an asset
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, problemsolving abilities, strong initiative, and attention to detail
Salary:
$85,000.00-$110,000.00 per year

Experience:
- Accounting: 3 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Chartered Professional Accountant (preferred)
