Responsibilities:


The Operations Clerk is responsible for:
Providing clerical support to the Railway Possessions, Operations Planning and Control Centre Departments

Setting up the daily schedule of Permits and Possessions for system wide activities.

Maintaining Contractor verification database.

Assisting with the distribution and filing of materials

Producing and updating manuals, lists and documents.

Coordinating time cards, time sheets and holiday/vacation.

Providing general clerical support to the Railway Possessions and Operations Planning teams.

Maintaining contractor verification database

Setting up the daily schedule of Permits and Possessions for system wide activities.


Qualifications:


EDUCATION:

EXPERIENCE:


Requires 2 years previous experience in a busy office environment utilizing a range of computerized and manual files, including experience with document control systems and the ability to work independently and provide administrative support to multiple managers.

A further period of up to six (6) months in the job to gain knowledge of the department, policies and procedures, and to become familiar with various systems, forms and procedures.


Work Schedule:

40 hours per week.

Rate of Pay:


Wage:
$33.07 per hour
