    Position Summary

    Are you passionate about nursing? Join our team at The University Hospital of Northern BC where we are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide compassionate patient care. The nurse will work under the direction of the Team Leader of the Adult Psychiatry Unit to support individuals receiving Acute treatment for Mental Health and Addiction concerns. By assessing and monitoring each client, the nurse will develop and execute a personalized care plan to help manage their symptoms and facilitate their return to the community.

    Shift Rotation/Hours of work:

    • Days, Nights, 07:00 to 19:00, 19:00 to 07:00 (rotating)

    • Provides medical training through the Northern Medical Program
    • Hosts residents in UBC's Family Practice Residency Program

    QUALIFICATIONs

    • Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives
    • Two years of experience in Mental Health and Addictions
    • Current CPR 'C' certification

    • Physical capability for job duties
