From corrugated packaging, paper bags, retail displays, pre-print, supply and inventory management, paper mills and recycling, Atlantic is strategically positioned to provide customers with a total packaging solution.


THE OPPORTUNITY:


The Manager, Supply chain Systems is an integral team member of Atlantic's Corporate Purchasing organization responsible for leveraging technology to revolutionize our core Purchasing capabilities to maximize business outcomes.

This role will own the overall Purchasing IT project portfolio and contribute to Atlantic's digital strategy, which is focused on systems, data, and automation.

As the Purchasing IT Lead, this role will participate in Atlantic's ERP transformation program.

This role will be responsible for defining the business requirements for Purchasing sponsored IT projects and will also identify best practices, make recommendations, and implement activities to enhance Purchasing system processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Lead the overall Purchasing systems strategy, ensuring technology platforms, purchasing systems and data are developed and maintained to support the Purchasing team in its strategic objectives and to improve the efficiency of the system of Purchasing control.
  • Partner with business leaders (HR, Finance, etc.) to ensure effective business transformation for all initiatives (roles, processes, organization) to drive the realization of identified business outcomes. Focus on process adoption, integration of new capabilities with ways of working, and drives associated systems usage. Ensure IT is aware of key business changes and issues. Certify milestone and business outcomes accomplishments.
  • Collaborate with internal IT partners to plan, design, coordinate and deliver on ERP and Purchasing owned systems to optimize operational activities within supply chain planning and analysis, financial reporting, and other corporate and business unit functions.
  • Develop and manage Purchasing policies, procedures, and process documentation to ensure effective and efficient operations and data management. Perform audits and internal control reviews to ensure the stability, security, and integrity of Purchasing systems and operations.
  • Lead change management and transition of projects to businessasusual activities.
  • Travel within North America will be required.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:


  • University Degree in Business, Information Technology, or related major.
  • 8+ years' experience leading Purchasing IT, preferably in Manufacturing.
  • Strong technical knowledge of ERP systems including some or all the following: procurement, suppliers, manufacturing, warehouse, logistics, distribution, consumers, shareholders, sales, and product development.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Supply Chain Planning and Reporting tools.
  • Experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, and implementing business process modelling and improvement, data modelling, prototyping, and systems integrations.
  • Experience with ERP implementation and systems administration.
  • Experience working with different ERP delivery methodologies (i.e., Waterfall, Agile, Scrum).
  • Experience with ERP, EPM, MES, Supply Chain, and Financial Systems.
  • Superior verbal and written skills, and extensive facilitation experience and ability to communicate effectively to Senior Leadership.
  • Excellent analytical, strategic conceptual thinking, strategic planning, and execution skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships and work effectively with internal and external project teams
