Description

We are Gerhard's Café looking for a front of house staff/Server who is energetic, customer focused and team player. Willing to learn and grow and be able to work in fast pace environment.

Key Attributes and Skills:

Greeting customers upon arrival at the Cafe
Providing excellent customer service during their dining experience
Providing suggestions and up selling for food or drink choices to customers
Taking feedback from customers
Cleaning tables and preparing spaces for future customers
Craft beverages, prepare toppings, and package and warm up food for customers
Make high quality lattes and other espresso based drinks
Operate the Point of Sales (POS) computer and safely handle cash
Maintain a consistently clean and wellmaintained sales floor and stock room
Adhere to the cleaning schedule to prolong the life of all equipment

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of serving experience
Good Customer Service etiquette and patient
Great team spirit and customer service oriented
Collaborations and Other duties as required
Patient and good work attitude at all times
Able to work well under pressure
Ability to work variable hours including mornings, afternoons, weekends and/or statutory holidays
