Sheridan Nurseries Norval Farm is actively searching for an:
Office Assistant
Seasonal Contract, Full Time


About the Job:


Your Accountabilities:


  • Data entry, including maintaining Excel spreadsheets
  • Timekeeping administration using Dayforce HCM
  • Processing Accounts Payable and Receivable invoices and documents for processing at Head Office
  • Promote a safe and healthy working environment
  • Provided backup support to other administrative staff as needed

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:


  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook
  • Previous experience working in an office or administrative setting
  • Payroll and AP/AR experience preferred
  • Ability to prioritize and deliver results independently while working in a fastpaced environment
  • Skilled in time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to display a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, including looking for patterns and discrepancies in paperwork
  • Adaptable and willing to learn
  • Punctual and dependable, and highly valuing honesty, integrity, and authenticity
  • Availability to work fulltime throughout the week, with some evening, Saturday, and holiday shifts required during our peak season
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
