Job Summary
The technician's duties will be building maintenance and following the preventative maintenance schedule set up by the Supervisor.

The role will be 75% Mechanical; moderate knowledge in all this area will be an asset or a strong learning aptitude.

Hours

9:00 AM to 5:30 PM and OT and weekends as required.

Essential

Responsibilities:

Working knowledge of power tools.
Diagnosing the problem and effectively communicating to appropriate personnel.
Manage and prioritize multiple projects at a time.
Maintain a record of the material/parts required and create requisitions for purchasing.
Repair basic issues of plumbing, electrical and hydraulics.
Assist equipment operators with repairs and or maintenance.
Able to work effectively with minimum supervision.
Able to refer to the supervisor when the problem is greater than the level of skill required.
Notify the Supervisor and management of unusual equipment and operating problems.
Ensure all safety precautions are followed while performing the work.
Must have a valid Class 5 driver's license.
