Description

BMW Durham is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Parts Advisor to join our team. As a Parts Advisor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers.

You will work closely with our Service Advisors, Technicians, and Parts Manager to ensure that the right parts are available to complete repairs in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist customers in selecting and ordering the correct parts for their BMW vehicles
Use BMW's electronic parts catalog and other resources to look up and identify the correct parts
Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels to ensure that parts are available when needed
Receive and inspect incoming parts to ensure that they meet quality standards and are properly labeled and stored
Process parts warranties and returns in accordance with BMW policies and procedures
Maintain a clean and organized parts department to ensure efficient operations
Participate in regular training and development opportunities to stay uptodate on new products and technologies

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework or degree preferred
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Parts Advisor role, preferably in an automotive dealership environment
Strong customer service skills with a focus on building and maintaining positive relationships
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced, teamoriented environment
Experience with BMW's electronic parts catalog and dealership management systems preferred
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time

Salary:
From $50,000.00 per year
