The manager is a confident leader and well-rounded professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

This person works collaboratively with the team, the portfolio, and the rest of the organization to develop and implement short and long-term brand and marketing strategies.


Main accountabilities:

Support the development and implementation of our brand identity strategy, aiming to create a sustainable, and distinct brand experience that reflects our culture and is easily recognizable by internal and external audiences.

Provide leadership to the organization's social media strategy and operations, including ensuring effective governance, training and education to ensure appropriate and effective use, manage risks, enhance corporate capacity and maximize positive impact in support of strategic goals.

Develops and implement strategies for enhancing the reach, impact and effectiveness of integrated storytelling in support of the brand.

Counsel senior leaders and their teams on best practices through consultation, planning and advising and acts as a connector of people, ideas and technology to help the organization achieve excellence in brand and marketing.

Oversee a team of creative, social media & storytelling professionals, working together to develop and execute integrated multi-channel strategies that are in line with our brand and organizational objectives.

Required Qualifications:

Baccalaureate degree in marketing, business administration, communications, or a related field. A combination of relevant education and work experience will be considered. A minimum of seven years of experience in a marketing and/or brand role. Proven track record driving brand growth in a complex business environment. Healthcare and/or public sector environment experience an asset.


Additional Required Qualifications:


Successful record of achievement as a leader and experience in strategy, program management and delivery, measuring and monitoring the effectiveness of integrated communication and marketing programs within a large organization.

Proven experience advising executive/senior leaders.

Strong writing skills and ability to produce content in different formats, including news stories, social media and marketing publications, in consistent brand voice and tone.

Excellent understanding of the various marketing and communication channels, both digital and traditional, and the roles they play in the marketing mix.

Leadership skills, including demonstrated ability and comfort with decision making responsibilities, managerial courage to address issues, mentoring, and the ability to inspire and build confidence in others.

Experience in managing and leading teams through change, particularly in the context of evolving brand strategies and marketing priorities.

Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize and manage timelines, budgets, and tasks, including potential competitive and conflicting priorities and time pressures.

Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams to gather requirements and design solution.

Commitment to personal development and participation in continuing education activities to stay updated on emerging trends in branding and marketing.
