Marketing + Business Development Assistant
Part Time : 2 days a week in office

Assist owner in all marketing, new initiatives, business development, daily tasks and maintaining a well run forward thinking design firm.


Important Skill Set

  • Strong copy writing skills.
  • Web development skills.
  • Social media experience.
  • Advanced at Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).
  • Resourceful and ability to selfteach.
  • Takes initiative in role.
  • Very creative.
  • Highly organized and strong time management skills.
  • Great interpersonal skills.
  • Tech savvy.
  • Ability to multi task and successful manage many tasks at once.

SCD Initiatives/Business Development

  • Execute initiatives related to business development.

Social Media + Marketing

  • Create content calendar for social media.
  • Manage social media calendar, including all captions, stories, and reels.
  • Responsible for filming activities and anything that contributes to social.
  • Organize photos from photographer and ensure that before/after shots are paired for stories.
  • Ensure all social content is aligned with brand.
  • Update brand on social media.

Website Management

  • Update website as needed with current projects.

Press/PR

  • Pitch all projects to press after project is complete with project description and a curated spread created with Adobe.

HR Responsibilities + Client/Vendor Relationship Responsibilities

  • Responsible for recruiting new team members as needed.
  • Book all vendor presentations and ensure that are sample library is up to date with products.

SCD Internal Catalogue

  • Manage SCD internal catalogue and ensure it is up to date.

Photoshoots

  • Source products and accessories for photoshoots.
  • Accessorize and organize for photoshoots.

Accessorizing

  • Strategically source accessories for clients homes and place them on final day of install.

Sourcing + Sample Library

  • Assist in sourcing for projects and creating presentations by being present in library and pulling samples as needed, adding to palettes, requesting samples, etc.
  • Maintain sample library organization.
  • Source new products as needed.

Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent

Part-time hours: 16 per week


Salary:
$20.83 per hour
