- Diagnose issues and consult with supervisors on repair or replacement decisions.
- Conduct tests and inspections using diagnostic tools to isolate faults.
- Perform maintenance services and tune-ups.
- Generate reports on problems and maintenance activities.
- Conduct pre-delivery inspections of new vehicles.
- Contribute ideas for process improvement.
- Assist in achieving departmental profit targets.
- Support departmental and company-wide initiatives.
- Take on additional responsibilities within your skill set as required.
- Completion of a vocational program or certificate in diesel mechanics or on-road heavy-duty vehicle mechanics with Certificate 310T.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the field.
