- Assist with designing changes to work cell layouts using AutoCAD for all departments.
- Work with all Manufacturing Engineers and Department Process Technicians in resolving any problems regarding manufacturing process capability, using sound Engineering principles and SPC techniques.
- Conduct Program, Routing, and BOM Audits to ensure product is within the quoted standard.
- Perform work cell assessments with focus on process flow, standardization, ergonomics and 5S. Document the current state and make improvements by adding detailed work instructions, including audio / video demonstration
- Assist with development and maintaining Operator Instructions, Rework, Change-over procedure and instruction.
- Optimize all parameters to attain maximum running efficiencies for each job.
- Enrolled in Post-Secondary Education
- Sound computer skills, including knowledge of software in current use; strong ability in word processing and spreadsheet software;
- Familiarity with FMEA, APQP, DOE
- Developing communication skills: verbal and written
- Understanding of lean manufacturing, an asset

About the Role
The position is responsible for supporting the Advanced Manufacturing Engineers with program launches. We are currently looking for a student in the Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering field for a 12 month co-op placement starting May 2024.
