Matrix is hiring Trade Apprentices for a permanent, full-time position with our amazing client, Irving Shipbuilding in Halifax, NS. The pay rate is $29.33/hr-$37.08/hr plus potential overtime. No experience is required. This position comes with generous and comprehensive benefits and relocation packages. These positions allow for work-life balance and numerous growth opportunities. The apprentices will be working in an indoor, controlled environment.

Irving Shipbuilding has been building quality vessels for over 50 years and has been at the forefront of Canadian shipbuilding for over 130 years.

Engine Fitter
Pipefitter

Metal Fabricators/ Ironworkers

Scaffolder

Millwrights
Labourers/ Painters

Requirements:

Must be able to handle, lift, carry, and set up parts and equipment that weigh up to fifty (50lbs) pounds
Must be eligible to work in Canada

Must be able to commute to work daily
