ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Post payable invoices upon management approval and prepare monthly cheque run.
- Monitor payment of invoices to ensure payments are made on time and there is no duplicate payment.
- Process and post vehicle sales transactions into accounting system, ensure revenue and gross profit are reported accurately.
- Monthend and yearend closing.
- Expense review and trend analysis.
- Reconcile various payable and receivable schedules.
- Work closely with dealerships to ensure company SOP and accounting process are followed.
- Track payments and receipts between dealership and manufacturer.
- Other responsibilities and duties as assigned by management.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- Minimum 3 years of full cycle accounting experience.
- Strong accounting knowledge and understanding of financial statements.
- Attention to detail and selfdisciplined in an autonomous work environment.
- Exhibit exemplary problemsolving, time management, and communication skills.
- Previous automotive experience and knowledge of CDK is an asset.
