Reporting to the Construction Team Leader, responsibilities for this position include the following:

  • Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operative's vision, mission, values, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach
  • Collaborate with builders, contractors, and vendors to schedule installation activities according to project timelines
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of installation schedules, materials used, and progress reports
  • Order, track and manage the delivery of materials required for installations
  • Ensure that the necessary materials and tools are available for each installation job
  • Identify and troubleshoot potential issues that may arise during installations and work to find solutions
  • Ensure a positive experience for clients by maintaining professionalism and clear communication
  • Promote a safe working environment for all parties involved
  • All other duties as assigned

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in Home & Building Products and Customer Service:

  • You have a grade 12; previous experience in a similar role within the home building, construction, or related industry is preferred
  • You're well organized, capable of attaining a high level of production, with a minimum amount of supervision
  • You're honest and trustworthy, are resultsorientated, and strive to be the best in what you do
  • You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives
  • You have effective communication skills to interact with clients, contractors and vendors
  • You have problem solving abilities to address unexpected challenges during installations
  • You have basic knowledge of home building materials, tools and installation techniques
  • You have the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fastpaced environment
  • You have a flexible work schedule, evenings, weekends and holidays when appropriate
