    You lead the revenue management workstream. You are responsible for defining and aligning the overall vision and roadmap to optimize the return on investment on our trade spend activities.

    How you will contribute

    You will:

  • Develop and deploy a standardized way of working, including governance, to identify and deliver trade spend efficiencies in the trade spend budget including formation of targets and supporting the creation of regional and local action plans
  • Administer effective trade spend controls through policies and sub processes that meet internal and external requirements with clear roles, responsibilities and outcomes
  • Initiate and lead the governance structure providing direction and counsel as required to deliver against short and longer term objectives
  • Coordinate various work tracks in revenue management including but not exclusively process, business case (quick wins and KPI's), capability and systems
  • Inspire key stakeholders with demonstrable progress toward the overall vision with strong engagement and clear communication
  • Coordinate management of existing revenue management systems ensuring current effectiveness is maintained and providing leadership for longer term systems requirements as part of end-to-end process
  • Develop and execute ad-hoc promotional plans to customers and consider the initiatives of categories, market and customer insights and business strategies, with an end-to-end responsibility for planning, execution and monitoring

  • Sr. Manager, Customer & Commercial RGM
    The Sr Manager of Customer & Commercial RGM – is responsible for developing and implementing key RGM principles to drive better effectiveness from trade spend in Mondelez Canada

    How you will contribute

  • The Sr Manager of Customer & Commercial RGM– serves as a key co-pilot, influencer and thought leader to the sales team, supporting that organization in making make decisions on how to maximize the revenue potential and bottom-line impact through pricing and promotional strategies aligned to brand and customer strategies and through optimization of trade investments.
  • This role will support customer planning, promotion optimization, pricing and assortment strategy, and trade spend transparency capabilities by effectively partnering with sales leadership to embed RGM principles such as vol/rate/mix, ROI, trade efficiency.
  • Drive thought leadership and adaptation recommendations necessary to execute trade spend and promotional strategies by supporting the development of insights and the implementation of optimization principles across the organization.
  • Evaluate historical promotional event performance and influence the design of new strategies to maximize performance results; influence successful deployment of promotion optimization insights to key user groups within the Sales Team
  • Engage with the customer teams to design price and promotional testing programs.
  • Share best practices & scale greatest ROI promotional events for customers, channels & marketplace.
  • Create processes to embed promotion optimization insights as a priority with our customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Work closely with cross functional groups in ongoing analysis of current year plan - monitoring risk and opportunities for ongoing adjustment of pricing and promotional strategies and tactics to achieve plan.
  • Provide ongoing promotional event analysis (decomp) to continuously improve in marketplace and assess investment and pricing effectiveness constantly.
  • Functioning as a Change Agent to achieve strategic pricing goals.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or similar required; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience, preferably in the consumer goods industry
  • Experience leading and influencing others, directly and indirectly.
  • Experience developing business plans/business cases; strategic thinking.
  • 3+ years of experience in sales planning, customer planning or customer facing roles highly preferred.
