ABC Technologies core business as an Automotive Tier 1 supplier is in the Design, Development and Production of plastic automotive systems and components for OEM's worldwide.

ACCOUNTABILITIES OF JOB FUNCTION:

Reporting to the Robot Team Leader, you will be responsible to maintain/ program related components of a blow moulding machine equipped with robots and troubleshoot PLC Programming and Robot Programming associated with the automation cell.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensuring that equipment meets established quality assurance specifications.
Programming and troubleshooting PLC programs, Robotic path programming, troubleshoot all equipment related to blow moulding machines, indexing tables, servo drives, hydraulic power units.
Review schematics for electrical and pneumatic circuits using AUTO CAD software and communicate/advise to the maintenance personnel regarding fault analysis.
Review the Operator Interface Controls, adjust and modify as required to meet process requirements.
Follow PM Programs to support production

Education, Qualifications and Experience:

Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Electronics or Electricians licence with Robotics

Two to Three (2-3) years automotive related experience

Knowledge, Skills and Attributes

Programming robots (preferably Motoman)
Trouble shooting on blow moulding or injection moulding machines
Building electromechanical control panels for custom machines
Interpreting electrical and pneumatic schematics for troubleshooting.
Mechanical/Electrical aptitude
Ability to evaluate, plan, analyze and make viable decision in a JIT work environment to ensure efficiency and timely implementation
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent time and multiple project management skills and experience
Good English language written and verbal communication skills with fluency in other languages being an asset
