Home Coffee Solutions is looking for a Product Specialist to lead our customers to great purchasing decisions and assist with post purchase support.

HCS is one of Canada's largest and fastest-growing coffee Equipment and Coffee/Tea retailers, with an office and showroom location in Concord, near York University.

We're looking for a new team member who loves coffee, is personable, reliable, and someone who is excited to learn about and represent the world of third-wave specialty coffee.

This role will be involved with the day-to-day operations of our e-commerce and retail location - assisting with customer inquiries, post purchase tech support and orders both on the phone and in person.

• Learning product lineup of espresso machines, coffee makers, and coffee to become a resident product expert
• Take/make phone calls to assist with both purchasing decisions and post purchase support
• Troubleshooting and deescalating customer issues
• Working closely with Shopify for customer orders, product
• Repairing machines sent back with issues

• Experience with coffee as a barista, coffee enthusiast, or strong will to learn more about the world of coffee
• Knowledge of all types of coffee machines with some history of troubleshooting and hands on repair
• Positive attitude, strong worth ethic, and comfortable working in a very fastpaced environment
• High proficiency in the English language for both written and oral communication
• Ability to work independently and complete deadlines in a timely fashion
• Confident and social with a personable attitude
• Curious with the will to learn and grow
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously with reprioritization

• Proficiency in French ( if possible /not a requirement)
• Experience with manual and semiautomatic coffee makers
• Comfortable presenting in front of people
• Prior work experience in a customer servicebased role
• Prior experience with the Shopify ecommerce platform
