  • Document and track progress by collecting data during sessions to measure behaviour changes and effectiveness of interventions.
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals (e.g., teachers, speech therapists) to ensure consistent implementation of strategies.
  • Conduct assessments and functional behavior assessments (FBAs) to identify triggers and patterns of behaviour.
  • Modify intervention strategies based on ongoing analysis of progress and challenges.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all interactions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Special Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, or related field preferred.
  • Experience working with autistic children in a behavioral intervention or ABA setting.
  • Knowledge of behaviour management techniques and principles of ABA.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in helping individuals with ASD reach their full potential.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to different locations for sessions.
  • Clear background check and TB test required (in accordance with state regulations).
