Capilano Animal Clinic is a small animal veterinary practice located in east Edmonton.

We are looking for a fulltime
Clinic Manager to join our talented team to be responsible for clinic operations and be a direct manager to all clinic staff.

The responsibilities and duties of a clinic manager include:

• General manager of clinic operations, including organization, inventory, staff scheduling.
• Direct manager of all clinic employees (daytoday tasks, performance, career growth, benefits, WCB)
• Problem solving for the staff so that they can focus on doing their best work in their respective areas of expertise.
• Representative of the clinic to external vendors.
• Single point of escalation for both staff members and clients.
• Hiring and onboarding of new staff
• A degree or diploma in a field related to healthcare and/or veterinary medicine.
• 5+ years in an administrative environment, preferably with management experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, etc.)
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Strong conflict resolution skills
• A natural problem solver

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability
