Mon-Thu: 7:30 to 4:30, Fri: 7:30 to 2:00

Start Wage:
$18.00 to $22.00 per hour

Position Duties/Responsibilities:

Our Service Technicians inspect, install, maintain/repair door automation, life safety, security and specialty building products for multi-use facilities, industrial, commercial, institutional and multi-tenant residential buildings throughout southwestern Ontario.

Team members in this position are responsible to assist our technicians with the following:

Assisting Service Tech with material handling and material cleanup
Review of orders, products, and services to be performed
Safe handling of products on site
Clean and sanitize work area and products regularly
Assist with paperwork, daily reporting, pictures, and videos
Assist with Quality Control processes
Maintain a neat and tidy work area/vehicle
Assist with inventory counts

Qualifications:

Clear communication skills, both verbal and written
Thorough planning, organizational and documentation skills
Be able to meet the physical demands of the job:
Assist team members to install heavy objects, such as 120 lb. Hollow Metal (steel) doors
Requires work on active jobsites that are in various stages of completion
Work overhead (40 lbs.)
Dexterity using various hand/power tools in a variety of positions
Ability to safely maneuver on a ladder
Grade 1 CSA approved safety footwear
Valid proof of a clean Driver's Abstract

Assets:

Grade 12 education/equivalent or higher
Welding (MIG) experience
Good knowledge of hand and power tools
Construction experience
