Under limited supervision, the Quality Control Inspector exercises independent decision making and judgment to set priorities and schedules for the warehouse, order fulfillment, repair and calibration functions.

The Quality Contour Inspector will develop policies and procedures for this function using personal judgment and in conjunction with the General Manager, will establish best practices to ensure a productive, customer focused level of professional support.


Essential Functions

  • Tests, troubleshoots, and repairs returned rental equipment for damage and returns to warehouse storage.
  • Manages the warehousing function by developing and maintaining new processes and procedures to improve product availability and shipping accuracy
  • Establishes a process for utilizing the ERP system to maximize equipment availability and product flow to customers
  • Prepares quotes, develops sales orders and invoices for the sales and rental functions
  • Communicates with customers and vendors to resolve logistics and to complete orders
  • Receives and stocks incoming goods from vendors and places/sorts into the appropriate bins/shelves
  • Enters incoming goods from vendors into the NetSuite ERP system
  • Picks, packs, and ships orders, as required
  • Creates shipping labels
  • Tests and troubleshoots returned rental equipment for damage and returns to warehouse storage
  • Assists in the calibration of sensors and makes necessary adjustments to the electronic systems
  • Makes light repairs to electronic components, as needed
  • Coordinates with Sourcing Manager in Sweden to source and evaluate local component suppliers

Other Functions

  • May drop ship sold or rented equipment on an occasional basis
  • Maintains a clean and orderly workplace and storage areas

Requirements:


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair electronic equipment is a core responsibility
  • Ability to pick, pack, and ship electronic equipment
  • Knowledge of NetSuite or similar ERP systems
  • Ability to multitask and set priorities with changing job demands

Education


Minimum of a technical degree in electronics or a related field from a technical or vocational school, or the equivalent.


Experience
Prior experience working with an ERP system is required. Experience working with electronic equipment and troubleshooting electronic systems is required.


Working Environment
Full time office working environment.

Working hours are typically 8:00 to 4:00 Monday through Friday, with periodic early and late hours to accommodate both national and international time schedules.


Physical Activities
This job requires the incumbent to frequently transition between office and warehouse environments.

Pushing, pulling, lifting, and packing of boxes with a maximum weight of 40 pounds, prolonged sitting in an office chair, making telephone calls, and other standard office procedures.

$60,000.00 per year
