George Stockfish Ford Sales is looking for a Sales Manager with automotive industry experience to help lead our sales team to the next level.

The Sales Manager is responsible for customer retention and the profitability of the new and used vehicle departments.

Our next Sales Manager must demonstrate knowledge of potential market by studying local market conditions, demographics and past sales history, in order to establish performance standards and have an acute feel for the profitability thresholds of each department.


Responsibilities include:

  • Participates in preparing the dealership's annual forecasts and in preparing monthly and yearly objectives.
  • Partner with General Sales Manager's plan and run dealership vehicle inventory.
  • Assist in running controllable expense elements for the New and Used Vehicle Departments.
  • Analyze business metrics to resolve shortfalls and implement action plans to elevate performance.
  • Understands and keeps abreast of federal and provincial regulations and municipal bylaws governing sales, and observes them.
  • Work directly with customers to develop enriching relationships that improve client loyalty and fuel the sales process.
  • Lead the negotiation process ensuring that customers understand their vehicle purchase options and pricing.
  • Establish trust among customers to establish strong network of clientele and prospects.
  • Provide training and support to sales staff and be actively involved in closing vehicle deals.
  • Facilitate regular sales training for continued sales team growth.
  • Demonstrate leadership by setting a clear vision and goals for the sales targeted performance.
  • Engage and motivate the team to achieve key goals, performance expectations and standard methodology processes
  • Drive business through a highlevel of involvement in daytoday operations.

Requirements:


  • Five to ten years related experience and/or training in a car dealership with automotive management experience being preferred
  • Previous success in meeting and exceeding sales goals while excelling at customer service.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent mathematical skills, analytical skills and reasoning ability
  • Skilled leader, trainer and coach, able to foster a cohesive team that works together to achieve common goals
  • Valid OMVIC Registration license
  • Valid Ontario driver's license in good standing (insurable)

Job Types:

Salary:
$80,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
