Do you have strong Reconciliation experience? Our client, a top 5 bank, is looking for a Reconciliations Specialist for a 7 months contract in Mississauga.
This position is working onsite 3 days a week and 2 days a week from home.Working Hours:
Monday Friday 37.Hybrid remote work
Start date is ASAP
Long term contract
Preparing reconciliations and attestations per prescribed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Ensuring true breaks are identified, investigated / reported and items that represent a potential loss are escalated immediately
Supporting all questions pertaining to in house reconciliations and support investigations for outages for outsourced reconciliations
Using in-house and online tools to do first level investigate on outages in order to speed up resolution
Working with various stakeholders relating to various reconciliation functions
Doing peer reviews on other reconciliations prepared by the team
Leading the charge on designing new reconciliations and amending existing reconciliations where needed
Using new and existing tools to automate and recommend solutions for data ingestion, analytics and visualization to create efficiencies in the reconciliation preparation process to reduce lead time
Demonstrating flexibility to assume project work outside of the general reconciliation process
Reconciliation experience
~Advanced working knowledge of Excel / Microsoft Office suite of products
~ Data visualization experience (preference in Tableau and/or Power BI)
Experience navigating datasets using Structured Query Language (SQL) for analytical purposes or experience with programming languages
