Job Title:
Freight Manager
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Freight Manager to join our team. As a Freight Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the freight operations.

You will have a key role in building and maintaining relationships with clients and carriers, quoting, tracing, and advertising of the business and ensuring the smooth delivery of all shipments.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, and suppliers
• Negotiate competitive freight rates with carriers and manage contracts
• Provide accurate quotes to clients and follow up on quotes to ensure customer satisfaction
• Advertise and market the company's services to potential clients
• Manage the daytoday operations of the freight department
• Coordinate and track all shipments from origin to destination
• Ensure timely delivery of all shipments and resolve any issues that may arise
• Provide regular reports on freight operations to senior management
• Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations and company policies
• Develop and maintain accurate records of all freight operations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred but not necessary
• 3+ years of experience in freight management, logistics, or a related field preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent phone skills and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, and suppliers
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage contracts
• Knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance requirements
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and transportation management software (training will be provided)

Salary:
$24.00-$26.00 per hour
