What you'll be doing

At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You'll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you'll spend 13 days per week onsite, while other days will be remote._

How you'll succeed- Leadership skills - By bringing a can-do and energetic self to work, you will build strong trustful relationships with your team members inside RBIO and with partner teams.

You show accountability of supporting a project or process to completion by solving for roadblocks and proactively identifying possible issues for the overall success of the group.

You take opportunities to provide advice to your team, including ongoing feedback and support.- Data quality - You understand the importance of data quality in reporting and are mindful of the impacts of low data quality to reporting.

You are systematic in adhering to the processes related to monitoring data quality, raising data quality issues, and taking ownership to solve them in both production reporting and project delivery setting.- Business and data analysis - You understand that both technical and business acumen are required.

You are well versed in SQL and be a reliable liaison between business and technology groups. You understand the processes related to project delivery such as requirements analysis and user acceptance testing.

Working closely with partners such as risk data consumers and risk data providers, you will provide analysis and support to the group with concepts around ingesting, measuring, monitoring, and reporting retail risk data to regulators and senior management.- Projects & testing - Identify obstacles or risks that may impact a project's timeline or success and assist in providing regular status updates.

Keep the lines of communication open with stakeholders, and help identify when escalation is necessary. Ensure that all test deliverables are received, approved, and aligned to your project's timeline, budget and goals. Support investigation and translation of business requirements into test cases. Design and manage end-to-end testing activities for various projects across the business.

Who you are- You can demonstrate experience in Data Analysis tools, including SQL.

It's an asset if you have experience using BI tools such as Cognos, Tableau, and PowerBi.- You have a degree in business, finance, software development, or risk management.- You have a background in Retail credit risk reporting, adjudication, and product knowledge.- You have a background in projects delivery related to data warehousing and Reporting.- You give meaning to data.
