What would you be doing?
Contract Management Resource Planning

  • Work with the Superintendents to expedite and coordinate site resources needed to effectively implement the work including subcontractors, material, construction equipment and labour.
  • Proactively involved in setting client expectations from the Executive level to entry level staff.
  • Professional and timely communication to partners, vendors suppliers that inspires everyone on the project to want to exceed your expectations.
Forecasting

  • Responsible for workforce planning including the development of all work scopes, shift schedules, and field work packages to implement and control all work through to a safe and efficient completion.
  • Will provide direction to Flint Superintendent, General Foreperson, Foreperson and direct field labour.
Quality Assurance

  • Ensure all field activities in the assigned territory meet or exceed safety, quality, schedule, and cost through the efficient use of all resources including staffing, materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Ensure that daily and weekly shortrange planning is implemented properly, right down to the foreman level.
  • Inspire a culture, that supports by example, where your actions and words line up with Flints core values.

Does this sound like you?

  • 5 or more years in managing brownfield/greenfield construction, pipeline, plant shutdowns including managing labor supply.
  • Past construction project experience with the successful management of multiple projects up to $5 million while using upwards of craft personnel and multiple contractors.
  • Journeyperson Trade certification in a mechanical field or related postsecondary degree would be an asset.
  • A combination of education and experience in business management, project management or other related technical specialties.
  • Excellent experience to interpret Requests for Proposals.
  • Utilize software systems for estimating, scheduling and project management.
  • Experience analyzing project/operational financial data and implementing performance action plans to improve operational results.
  • Technical ability in the mechanical/piping sector including shutdown/turnaround implementation, operations coordination, equipment management, cost estimating and bid development.
