    Position Overview

    Reporting directly to the Area Manager, as a District Manager, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact within the Davey Tree company as you oversee a territory and lead a team in the delivery of exceptional arboriculture services for our clients.

    Job Duties

    · Oversee, direct and support several crews as well as office staff

    · Be involved in all aspects of leadership including: Recruitment, Employee Development, Training, Safety, Mentorship

    · Assist in the development of regional strategies in congruence with the Sales Arborist and District Manager to create and establish new business development opportunities

    · Play an integral part in the sales of the district

    · Equipment and asset management

    Qualifications

    · High School diploma with a minimum of 5 years' industry experience

    · ISA Certified Arborist

    · Landscape Pesticide Applicator Certificate or in process of obtaining

    · Valid provincial driver's license. Licensed to drive a 5-ton vehicle / air brake endorsement considered an asset

    · Strong leadership, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
