Roles and responsibilities:

Sales Support: Provide direct assistance to the sales team, including generating leads, quotations, prospect research, preparing sales materials, and assisting with client communications. You'll be the go-to person for the sales team, helping them access the marketing resources they need to succeed.

Product Marketing: Collaborate with marketing to develop and implement product-specific marketing strategies. You'll be responsible for understanding the product's unique value proposition and ensuring it is effectively communicated to the target audience through various marketing channels.

Product Launches: Work closely with both sales and marketing during product launches. This includes coordinating launch activities, developing launch plans, creating sales enablement materials, and ensuring the sales team is fully prepared to promote the new product effectively.

Sales Collateral: Assist in creating and updating sales collateral, including product brochures, presentations, case studies, and sales scripts. These materials should be tailored to address customer pain points and highlight the product's benefits.

Market Research: Conduct market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape. This information will help refine product messaging and positioning and provide valuable insights to both sales and marketing teams.

Sales Training: Facilitate product training sessions for the sales team to ensure they have a deep understanding of the product's features, benefits, and value proposition. Continuous education will empower the sales team to articulate the product's value confidently.

Data Analysis: Analyze sales and marketing data to track the performance of product-specific campaigns and strategies. Use data insights to make data-driven recommendations for improvements.

Competitor Analysis: Keep track of competitor products and marketing activities to understand market positioning and identify opportunities to differentiate and strengthen the product offering.


Qualifications:


  • Post Secondary Education or equivalent preferred.
  • 2 years professional working experience in a similar role or industry.
  • Understanding of Pricing/cost/margin/profitability models preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and time sensitive environment.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work within a team environment and independently.
  • Problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills.
  • Advanced computer skills including MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in their work.
  • Strong organizational & time management skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability.
  • Proven ability to work unsupervised & manage time & multiple priorities effectively.
