    The Select Group is hiring for a Content Designer to join a top 5 banking client in the Toronto area.

    Start Date:
    June 2024

    Duration: 6 months (possible extensions or FTE conversion)

    Working Location:
    Toronto, ON (1 day per week on-site, 4 days remote)


    Experience Level:
    Junior to Intermediate


    Industry Background:
    Financial services is ideal (but not a requirement)


    Interview Process:

    • 30 min to 1 hour interview with hiring manager & colleague
    minutes with some of the direct team, if necessary

    • Writing Assessment

    The successful candidate will:

    • Operate on teams and projects based primarily in Canada, and potentially the US.
    • Turn complex financial and regulatory concepts into userfriendly, accessible copy.
    • Deliver UX copy, information architecture, other key artifacts.
    • Work closely with Product Designers, UX researchers, product owners, digital managers, the design system team, and other stakeholders.
    • Pair and collaborate with other designers and content strategists.
    • Conduct heuristic analysis, competitor research, and other forms of research and analysis to inform content strategy.
    • Promote and practice open communication and contribute to a transparent and collaborative team culture.
    • Be collaborative, strategic, datadriven, user centric and eager to take on responsibility.
    • CMS and Figma experience is a bonus.
