Education:
Relevant College degree

Relevant Experience: 0-2 Yrs (incl. co-op)

Required Knowledge & Skills

• Canadian technical College degree or experience in parts assembly is strongly preferred
• Ability to read basic mechanical drawings and follow work instructions
• Use common tools, such as a drill and a soldering iron
• Ability to handle and lift solar panels or other heavy components (up to 25 kg)
• Use of spreadsheet and word processing software
• Learns quickly and can adapt to a fastpaced environment
• Ability to work well both independently, and in collaboration with the team
• Dexterity in both hands for operating tools, cutting materials, etc.
• Attention to detail
• Excellent work ethic
• Excellent English communication skills written and verbal
• Keeps tools and equipment organized

Good to Have

• Familiarity working with wood, aluminum, and steel a valuable asset
• Machine shop experience
• Hands on individual
• Scripting or programming languages (e.g. C#, python)
• Familiarity with the installation and function of photovoltaic panels
• Experience with solar panel production
• You are encouraged to list any extracurricular projects you feel are relevant
