Performs biomechanical. fitness, and functional assessments.
Work collaboratively with patients to set and achieve their functional goals.
Carry out fitness training sessions or rehabilitation sessions.
Guide and educate patients with recommended treatment plans.
Collaborates with other healthcare professionals regarding the patient's condition, needs, and progress.
Document and chart patient's progress and provide medical information upon request via full access to electronic charting software.
Stay uptodate with current research and advancements in the field of kinesiology

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology or related field
Certification as a Kinesiologist or eligibility for certification
Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics
Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of common medical conditions
Experience working in an acute care setting is preferred
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Ability to effectively communicate with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals
Proficiency in computer operation and electronic medical records systems
Bilingual proficiency in English and French is an asset
