Description
Flooring company located in Abbotsford requires a reliable part-time material handler / delivery person.

The driver will load flooring materials at suppliers warehouse then deliver the materials to private homes or places of business throughout the lower mainland using the company van.


Job responsibility also includes:
Light warehouse work

Site cleanup which can be extensive at times

Keeping the company vehicle clean

Correct paperwork for vehicle maintenance and Safety

Various tasks as required


This is a very physical job, approximately half of your day will be driving, the other half will be manual labour - moving flooring materials into the van then from the Sprinter van into the house or building of the job site and site clean up.

MUST BE PHYSICALLY FIT - MUST HAVE FULL CLASS 5 DRIVERS LICENSE - MUST BE AUTHORIZED TO WORK IN CANADA

Valid BC Class 5 Drivers License

Clean Drivers Abstract

Ability to lift up to 45lbs.

Authorized to work in Canada

Loading the delivery vehicle from a staging area

Delivering to residential and commercial locations

Heavy lifting

Moving company experience an asset

Material handling

Safety Inspections


Salary:
$22.00-$25.00 per hour
