Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing a variety of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal operation and safety. Duties

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment
• Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and techniques
• Repair or replace faulty components, including belts, gears, hydraulics, and electrical systems
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs performed
• Collaborate with team members to prioritize repair tasks and minimize downtime
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company policies
• Assist in the installation of new equipment and upgrades as needed
• Conduct safety checks after repairs to verify proper functioning

Skills

• Proven experience as a mechanic or in a similar role involving machinery maintenance and repair
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, electrical systems, and troubleshooting techniques
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Good communication skills for reporting issues and coordinating with team members
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments
• Relevant certifications or licenses (e.g., ASE certification) are preferred but not required
• Strong commitment to safety standards and procedures

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.42-$48.03 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
