Key Responsibilities:


Troubleshooting and Support:


  • Provide second and thirdlevel support for networkrelated issues, diagnosing and resolving problems in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with support teams and vendors to address complex network problems.
  • Participate on a rotating oncall schedule 24/7/365.

Collaboration and Communication:


  • Collaborate with other IT teams, departments, and Cisco/Manufacturers TAC to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members and stakeholders.

Configuration and Optimization:


  • Configure and optimize Routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices to enhance performance and security. Onsite Installation of equipment such as Routers, Switches, Firewalls, Servers and VOIP.

Network Design and Implementation:


  • Work with Senior Architects to help implement, and manage network solutions to meet organizational requirements.
  • Collaborate with other IT professionals to ensure seamless integration with existing systems
    .

Security and Compliance:


  • Implement and maintain network security measures to protect against unauthorized access, data breaches, and other security threats.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Documentation:


  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, processes, and procedures.
  • Develop and update network diagrams to reflect the current state of the infrastructure.

Capacity Planning:


  • Conduct regular capacity planning assessments to ensure the network can meet current and future demands.
  • Make recommendations for upgrades and improvements based on capacity analysis.

Qualifications:


  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or higher certification.
  • Some experience in designing, implementing, and managing Ciscobased network solutions, including Campus, Datacenter, Collaboration and Security solutions.
  • Knowledge of routing and switching protocols, including BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP.
  • Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices.
  • Experience with Cisco IOS, NX-OS, and other relevant operating systems.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problemsolving skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:


  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or higher certification.
  • Familiarity with network monitoring tools and technologies.
  • Knowledge of cloud networking concepts (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Understanding of softwaredefined networking (SDN) principles.
Specifically Cisco ACI.


Experience:


  • 36 years networking related experience preferred.
