We are seeking Registered Nurses and Registered Practical Nurses Palliative Care Program Full Time and Part-Time roles Scarborough and Durham Region

About the Program:

The Palliative Care Program is dedicated to delivering comprehensive home nursing services tailored to meet the unique needs of individuals, families, and groups facing end-of-life circumstances. Our team of skilled nurses is committed to elevating the standard of care for palliative clients, with a primary focus on proficient symptom and pain management. Through our specialized services, we aim to enhance the overall quality of life for individuals receiving palliative care.

Our dedicated nurses operate within the Scarborough and Durham region, providing compassionate and personalized care within the comfort of clients' homes. Please note that this is a visiting nurse opportunity, regular travel and driving are integral components of the position.

There is a $2000 Sign-On Bonus for full-time nurses hired to work in the Durham region.

About the role: The Palliative Care nurses will provide palliative assessments and end-of-life care to patients. Some of the nursing services that you will be providing include wound care, IV therapy, injections, removal of PICC lines, chemo disconnections, and more. Nurses will attain specialized clinical skills in (Patient-Controlled Analgesia (PCA) pumps, pain management, and symptom management). Additionally, doing mental health support and check-in with clients is also required.
