    Wood's Homes is looking for one full-time Clinician to join our Lethbridge Opportunity Hub (LOH).

    The Lethbridge Opportunity Hub (HUB) provides young people 12 to 24 with employment literacy and skill development, psychoeducational supports and life skills, systems and community resource navigation, including intensive case management around accessing and maintaining housing supports.

    Role Summary:

    The clinician is responsible for the development and provision of quality clinical services to Wood's Homes clients and programs. The Clinician will demonstrate due diligence in being exceptional in the delivery of high-quality services and in meeting the requirements of the Health and Safety Management System at Wood's Homes. The Clinician must also possess strong relationship-building skills, have an active awareness of community and social trends related to serving youth, and proficient in both counselling and risk assessment skills.

    Responsibilities:

  • Provides direct treatment services to a caseload of young people in the form of individual, group intervention, and family therapy.
  • Performs initial assessments of clients as assigned. Provides a brief written report of the initial assessment and support recommendations following case management guidelines.
  • Completes written and timely records of ongoing clinical work following case management and professional guidelines.
  • Provides clinical consultation to Wood's Homes programs as assigned and enhances clinical skill and knowledge.
  • Provides staff training, clinical training to community professionals, and practicum student training, as requested.
  • Actively communicates with community resources regarding Wood's Homes clientele and programs.
  • Participates in research and other specialized projects, as assigned.
  • Reports workplace hazards, unsafe or unhealthy conditions, or incidents (including near misses, injuries, or equipment damage) to their direct supervisor.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Qualifications:

  • A Master's or Ph.D. in Psychology, Social Work, Family Nursing, Art Therapy, or a related field.
  • Current registration or seeking registration/certification in the appropriate professional association.
  • Licensed in accordance with the Health Professions Act and provides services consistent with professional standards, guidelines, and ethics.
  • Current proof of professional registration may be required for certain diplomas or degrees.
  • Must have access to personal transportation.
