    About this opportunity

    The Human Resources Shared Services Coordinator will be accountable for providing a range of HR coordination activities, which includes responding to HR inquiries and administrative support requests from various stakeholders, including current and former team members. This role is hybrid/remote.

  • Serve as the first point of contact for HR related inquiries and requests, responding in accordance with service level agreements and established guidelines
  • Address general inquiries regarding HR policies, programs, and practices in various areas such as pay, benefits, and team member changes
  • Prepare and process approved team member changes, employment contract amendment letters, and verification of employment letter requests
  • Escalate and triage inquires and requests to appropriate stakeholders as appropriate
  • Input and maintain team member data in the Human Capital Management System
  • Responsible for verifying and uploading team member file documents in the Human Capital Management System
  • Liaise with stakeholders as required, supporting the employee lifecycle
  • Support and faciliate new hire general orientation
  • Research and prepare responses for various HR issues
  • Support organizational projects and coordinate various activities as required
  • What you need to be successful

  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Human Resources or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of related experience
  • Understanding of HR policies and program principles and practices
  • Understanding of related legislative rules and regulations (e.g., Employment Standards)
  • Exceptional customer service orientation and delivery
  • Strong writing skills – ability to ensure consistency of documentation, with the ability to customize as required
  • Strong coordination skills with superior attention to detail and accuracy
